Hew & Hue is a carpentry and painting business serving southeast Michigan focused on fine carpentry, finish work, repairs, restoration, and custom improvements for homes and select commercial spaces.
We like work that’s done with care. Sometimes that means a straightforward repair or an overdue improvement. Sometimes it means restoring an older feature, refining a finish, or building something custom that feels like it truly belongs in the space.
We’re especially drawn to projects where craftsmanship makes a visible difference, whether that’s in the details of an older home, the finish quality of an interior, or the design and execution of a custom piece. At the same time, we also take on more practical work and approach it with the same level of attention and respect.
